(PER UNITED PRESS A-sbOCI ATION.) Wellington, December 14" Mr J. K. Whitton, a well-known resident of Ahoetown, died very suddenly last night. A number of friends had been on a visit to his house, and on their ieparture to catch the train it was disjovered that one of the tickets had been [eft behind. Mr Whitton rushed off in post haste, and reached the station before the train left, but the exertion was too much for him, as he waß afterwards discovered in a fainting condition, and in t few moments expired.
