Blake in the recent difficulty in reference to the Governorship of Queensland. The Times censures Lord Knutsford for weakuess in receding from the stand he first took up in the matter. The Queen and the Dowager-Empress Victoria have given orders that they shall be furnished daily with bulletins regarding the condition of Mr John Bright's health. November 29. It is reported that Lord Knutsford has cabled to one of the colonial Governments the name of the gentleman whom the colonial Office has selected as Governor. Her Majesty the Queen has paid a special visit to London to condole with the relatives of the Duchesß of Southerland. Panama canal shares have fallen, owing to the failure in floating the balance of the lottery loan. It is expected in consequence that the company will be unable to pay the interest on its bonds. Lord Balfour of Burleigh has declined the Governorship of Queensland. The condition of Mr Bright is now more hopeful. Pa bis, iNovemb r 28. When M. It is reported that the new Russian loan is to b9 applied to increasing the Black Sea fleet. General Boulanger does not oppose the divorce action mstitued by his wife, as as he is desirous of marrying Madame Heriot, the wealthy proprietress of the Magasm Delonore. The friends of General Boulanger wish to prevent a scandal for political reasons, aa they fear it will injure the leadership of the Boulanger party. Brbne. November 28. W. F. Herlenstein, of Zurich. The Czarina is suffering from melancholia, which is mainly attributable to the recent accident to the Boyal train on the Azov railway. Her Majesty wishes to leave Russia, and it is believed if she remains her mind will become permanently affected. It is feared that the accident has also had a danresßincr effect on the Czar.
