The draft of the new volunteer regulations has beea revised by the Defence Minister, and is now in the printers' hands, preparatory to final adoption. The Manchester Rifles held their usual annual master last night, when all armt and accoutrements on issue to the Go* vernment were inspected. The members were all present or accounted for except three, who were aa usual fined. The several amounts have not been stated, but there is some probability the fines will not exceed 20s each with costs. Judging distance parade will be held on Kimbolton road on Friday next at o o'clock in the afternoon.
