The Manchester Rifles paraded at the butts yesterday for independent and volley firing under the command of Lieuts. Pleasants and Barton. Lieut. Col. Stapp and Sergt. Major McMillan were in attendance and superintended the proceedings. There waa a full muster, and the shooting was fairly good.. A parade will , be held on Friday next for the purpose of electing, a. Captain in place of Captain Macarthur resigned, and of a lieutenant in place of Lieutenant Pleaeants who will be elected ag Captain. \
