Her cargo of frozen meat is in good condition. bix thousand quarters of Australian wheat, October-November shipments were sold at 435. An Adelaide cargo was sold at 41s 10^d. The New Zealand Loan and Mer- j •cantile Agency Company (Limited), : have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 15th iuat :— ♦• Tallow. —Fine and inferior tallow has advanced 3d per cwt since last report. Frozen meat. —Market -quiet. Canterbury mutton is worth per ib, and Wellington ditto, sd. INew Zealand hemp.—Market strong." October 16.
The wheat market shows a general advance of sixpence. The Continental market is firm, and the American market weak and declining.
The American visible wheat supply as 32,250,060 bushel*. The total quantity of wheat and £our afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,372,000 quarters, and for the Continent 604,000 quarters.
