The following horses are left in the Caulfield Cup : Honey dew, Cardigan, Enfilade, Bravo, Spade Guinea, Stanley, Dividend, Dick Swiveller, Lord Headington, Lara, Pakeha, The Charmer, Aglaoa, Touchstone, Maggie, Tradition, Chicago, Newmaster, Victory, Plutarch, Bothwell, King of the West, Menottio, Crown Brand, Sorella, Locksley, Rouge-et-noir.
The following have been scratched for the Melbourne Cup : Talcoon, Stockwell, Matador, Frisco, Pentagon, Blucher.
For the V.E.C. Derby, Pentagon and Lemuel have been scratched.

There was no work of special importance at Flemington this morning. Enfilade covered a mile and a half in 2nain 54sec at Caulfield yesterday.
Spade Guinea is credited with having broken the Caulfield training record for a mile and a half. The time registered was 2min 44seo.
