The following horses are left in the Caulfield Cup : Honey dew, Cardigan, Enfilade, Bravo, Spade Guinea, Stanley, Dividend, Dick Swiveller, Lord Headington, Lara, Pakeha, The Charmer, Aglaoa, Touchstone, Maggie, Tradition, Chicago, Newmaster, Victory, Plutarch, Bothwell, King of the West, Menottio, Crown Brand, Sorella, Locksley, Rouge-et-noir.

The following have been scratched for the Melbourne Cup : Talcoon, Stockwell, Matador, Frisco, Pentagon, Blucher.

For the V.E.C. Derby, Pentagon and Lemuel have been scratched.
