Ox hides, 4sd to 4£d. The English wheat market continues strong, and Continental remains steady, while American shows a slight decline. Australian wheat on spot is quoted at 43s 6d, New Zealand, longr-berried, 43s 6d to 445. For cargoes of new crops sellers are asking 42s 3d. Australian flour, ex store, is at 28s 6d; and New Zealand, ex store, 275.

Youll, a financial agent, advises the Australian colonies to postpone loans until the bank rate is reduced.
The English wheat market is improving and increasing in firmness. The Continental and American markets have also an upward tendency. An Australian offcoast cargo has been sold at 42s to 42s 6d Leather is quoted at 9£d to lOd. Twelve hundred bales of rabbit skins have been sold at an advance of Ad to 2d per dozen.
