Football
The match between the Englishmen and Taranaki, played at Hawera on Thursday, resulted in a win for the visitors by seven points to one. The football match played at Wan* ganui yesterday, between the Englishmen and Wanganui, ended in a draw, each side scoring a try. The concluding match of the season will be played on the Oval on Saturday between teams representing Town and Country. Following are the respective teams : — Town : Parr, Smith, Saywell, Belive, Watts, Robinson, Henry, Fowler, Belfit (2), Dixon, Iveson, Hodges, Evans, Collins, and others. Country : Broughton, Poad, Campbell, Corkery, Bailey, Terry, Whisker (2), Kewe, Mobos, Driberg, Bennett, Sanson, Martin, Knight, Casey, and others.
