Volunteer Items
The Manchester Kifles will parade on Friday next. On Saturday there will be practice firing at the butts. Recruits are specially requested to attend. Mr George Cecil Russell has presented a sword to be competed for by members of the Alexandra Cavalry. It is to.be awarded for the best sword exercise and general efficiency, anc will be presented to the winner at the next Easter Encampment.
