DR. MONCKTON IN REPLY.
TO THE RBTTOR OF THE STAB. Bib,— Mr Korero's letter was funnily ingenious, and causedsomeamusement; but calls for no further 'comment while it: is protected by an anonyn. " " ;T •••' As regards Mr Edmd. Goodbehere, it will be remembered that I mentionedthe Horticultural Secretary refused to hold a meeting; that theAdvocate commented on no meeting having been held ; and that the Secretary and reporter to the Advocate < were one man. Mr E. Goodbehere replied by denying everything, and asserting all my facts to be fallacies. He has since proclaimed that he is/the reporter, and proud of it; and also acknowledged that he did postpone; holding the meeting. I shall now drop further discussion, and leave I.1 '. your readers to judge for themselves; With reference to Messrs Worsfold,. Fowlea, and Hall, I expressed an opinion that they could not be induced to deny my statements; and, as their signatures have been appended to such a document, I acknowledge I was wrong in paying them a compliment they did not deserve— l am, &c, P. A. Moncktow. -■
