We quote prime short oats, 2s 5d to 2s 6d ; long feed, 2s 3d to 2s sd ; seed samples, 2s 6d to 2s 8d ; oatmeat, £1 0 10s ; oaten chaff, £3 Ids to £4 ; straw do, £2 Ids to £3; flour, roller. £10 10s, stone £9 10s, firm; bran, £3 15s; pollard, £4 to £4 sa; wheatmeal, £9 10s ; maize, 3s 4d to 3b 6d ; feed barley, 2s 9d ; pearl do, 19s ; field peas, 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; split do, 16s; grass seed are dull; potatoes, eating £4, seed £5 to £5 ,10s ; onions, prime, £6 10s ; cheese, jbest quality, 5d second quality 4d ; fresh butter reduced to lOd and lid; eggs are not so plentiful, and should improve beyond 8d — the present rate — daring the coming week; bacon, 7d; hams/^d; lard, sd; honey, 4d to 5d.
