Fatal Train Accident at Westport
(per united press association.) Wl TPOUT, September 12. A coal train leaving town shortly after 7 o'clock this eveuing ran over a man at the road crossing just at the boundary of the town. He was killed instantaneously, his body being terribly mutilated. This Day. The name of the man killed on the railway line last evening was Charles Sutherland, a carpenter, who came from Dunedin twelve months ago. His body was disembowelled, and his limbs man- ' gled. During the day, he was sitting on the platform, and was caught ,-£y ..the pafcwuK tram. '
