Messrs Donald Reid and Co. repon for the week ending .Wednesday, 6tl September, 1888, as follows :— Fat Cattle. — Bidding was brisk, with an advance of 10s to 15s a heac on prime pens over last week's ruling rates. Bullocks sold at £5 17s 6d t< £10 5s; cows, £4 10s to £9 17s6dfoi extra heavy. Fat Sheep. — Bidding was brisk all through, and fully last week's quotations were obtained, best light weights perhaps going a shade lower (say, 6d to 9d). Prime cruse bred wethers sold at 15s to 18s 3d; one pen, Lincoln wethers, 19s 3d ; others, 11s 6d to 14s 9d. Prime crossbred ewes^ 13s to 15s 6d ; others, lls to 12s 6d.
