The best side of Feilding is certainly not that which will first catch the eve of a person (. seeking a desirable location. There is j much that a properly constituted Council , , can do to remedy this state of things, ;l | mean a council of upright and honourable t : men who will commaud the confidence of - the majority of the ratepayers, and who - will seek the advancement of the Borough, ) and not the fads of any individual,, clique, . or party. With such a council, loan proposals for bridges, footpaths, mettal- ' ling, &c, might safely be brought forward.
