The Cricket Club :
We hope the meeting to-night, to be held in Mr Eetbmeyek's office, of Knights of the Willow, will be well attended, and whatever is taken in hand, energetically and successfully carried out. At one time Feilding could send a very strong team into the field, and we hope to see the popularity of the game revived. For the past two or three years, from a variety of causes, difficulty has been experienced in getting a good piece of ground for practice and play, but we have reason to believe that obstacle can now be overcome. As far as the players are concerned, there are plenty of them, if they can only be induced to roll up. The members of the Football Club, who have given such a good account of themselves this season, ought to be valuable additions to the Cricket Club. We may state that the meeting is to be held at half past eight in the evening, for the convenience of the foofball team, who played at Marton to-day, and who will return by the last train.
