-♦- STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. Bulls, August 4. We had not such a large sale a* Palmerston on Thursday as usual, but the sale nevertheless was a success in point of prices, and cattle, of which we cold nearly every head in che yard, brought better prices. Our sale at Sanson. on the following day was an unqualified success, buyers attended from all partß of the coast, and the bidding for the sheep, more particularly the hoggets, of which there were sereral good lines, was more spirited than we have seen at any sales for .years.
