George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follows : — The week has been productive of no special business, mainly on account of the broken weather pre* Talent. With the exception of a still further advance in the price of potatoes, and a rapid decline m the value for eggs, there are no charges to note. Oats are very firm at Is lid to 2s Id for feed and 2s 2d to 2s od for seed samples ; oatmeal, £9 5s to £9 10s ; oaten sheaf chaff, 4s ; straw ditto, 3s ; flour, £9 for roller and £8 5s tor stone process ; fowls wheat, 2s 6d broken, and 2s Bd, -to 2s 9d for whole grain ; bran, £3 10s ; pollard, £4 per ton; feed barley at 2s Bd, maize 3s 9d, pearl barley 21s, peas 3s 4d to 3s 6J, and beans 3s 4d are a,ll very dull of sale ; split peas, 17s ; p^ime Derwent potatoes, 65s Oamaru and 55s for Blenheim per ton ; onions, £3 10s to £4, market overs stocked ; prime cheese, 4d to 4£d ; fresh butter Is Id ; salt do, 8d to 9d ; pastry samples, 3d to 4d ; eggs, Is 3d .per doz. Considerable quantities of poultry have been moved off at the following rates : — Turkeys, 7s ; geese, 5s 6J ; ducks, 4s ; fowls, 2« 6d to 2s 9d per pair. A catalogue of pure* bred fowls was quitted at yesterday's sale at satisfactory prices Very little fruit is offering. Oranges I rule from 3s to 7s 6d. according to quality; lemons, 7s to 9d ; apples (Neson). 6* to 8* 6d. A small consignment, from Hobart (French crabs) is being moved off at 10s to 11s per case. ■ -
