AThargomindah telegram states that a remarkable immigration of cats is now taking piece in that district. Thousands upon thousand of cats are advancing north and infesting the bush. It is sup* posed they are following the armies of rats which recently passed through the district. They are in very poor condition, and it is hoped that will keep down the rabbits, which are still pouring into the colony through the 17 mile gap in the rabbit-proof fence.
