The following is a copy of the testimonial presented by the Committee of the Feilding. State School to Mr D. [.. H. Jenkins, late Assistant Teacher at \ Feilding, prior to his departure to \ take the position of Head Teacher at " Feilding, Juno 30th, 1888. 11 To Mr David Henry Jenkins, ■ " Dear Sib,— We, the -ahdereigned, being the Committee of the Feilding State School, desire on the occasion of yjour departure from here for another of labor, to express to you Our f opinion of your efficiency and^ general qualifications as a teacher, which have been evinced by the painstaking, sue- ; cessful, and satisfactory manner in , which you have discharged your dut- ; ies during the period of upwards of five and a half years in which you have filled tho position of Assistant "Teacher in the above-named school. • While accepting your resignation with feelings of regret, wo cannot l>ut congratulate you on you? deserved promotion to the position of that of Head' Teacher of another school, and we also .
