Thomas & Co. report produce prices as follows : — Roller flour, £9 to £9 5s ; stone ditto, £8 5s to £8 15s j milling wheat 3s 3d; whole fowls 7 wheat 2s 10d.; broken anfl screenings 2s 6d to 2s 8d ; wheatmeal, ' £& 10s ; prime short oats, 2s 2d to 2s 3d; long feed Is lid to 2s; black and white s«ed ditto, 2s 6d; oatmeal £9 10s; pollard, £4; bran, £3 10s; oaten chaff, £2 15s to £4 ; feed barley, 2s 9d to 2s lOd ; maize, 3s 9d to 3s 1 Od; beans, 3s 3d; field peas, 3s 3d to 3s j 6d; garden ditto, 7s; carrots, £2 10s; turnips, £2 ss ; onions, £4 to £4 10s. Derwent potatoes have advanced 5s per ton in the southern markets, but the increase is not yet felt here; we therefore quote did prices, £2 10s to £2 ,15s; Bath and Lapstone kidney «eed, £5. Poverty Bay rye grass seed, 3s 6d; Italian rye, 3s 3d ; cocks foot, 3£d per lb ; split peas, 18s ; pearl barley, 22s 6d ; cheese, 4£d ; fresh butter, scarce and advanced to Is 2d for primest parcels ; salt ditto lias also increased enquiry for export arid is now good value at 9d — we notice that prices in Sydney are from Is Id to Is 3d for best N.Z. ; hams and bacon, 7d to 7£d; lard, 4d; honey, 4d to sd. Poultry is in better demand, as follows— Fowls, 2s 9d; ducks, 3s 9d ; geese, 6s; turkeys, 7s 6d per pair. Until the advent of Prji consignments to-day the week had passed without our market being replenished by a single shipment of |ruit ; trade is dull, and, therefore, £h*'fa*t°f Bori-arrivals has been more Satisfactory than otherwise ; bananas only realised moderate prices, owing to the shipment being somewhat i«;iw. • -. ■■■■■."
