Oats : Milling, 2/1 ; seed Tartars, 2/-; black, 2/-; dun, 2/-; bright short feed, l/ll ; discolored, 1/10 ; Danish, 1/9 to 1/9s. Barley: Prime malting, 4/3 to 4/6 ; good malting, 4/- ; feed, 2/4 ; Cape, 3/- ; pearl, £19. Flour : Boiler, £8 5/-; stone, £7 15/-. Eyegrass : Machine dressed, 2/9 to 3/- ; undressed, 2/3 f» 2/4- Cocksfoot: Prime heavy dressed, 3fd; medium, 3&d; light, 34 ; good seconds and scrumps, l£d to 2d. Hay: Baled, £3 5/- per ton. Chaff: Good oatsheaf, £2 15/-; straw, 37/6. Potatoes : Prime ripe Derwente, 45/- ; Bath, lapstone, and fluke kidneys, 65/-. Onions : Prime dry in sacks, £3. Bitter : Prime (scarce), BJ. Cheese : Loaf, 4d to 4sd! medium sizes; 3£d. Hams and bacon, 7d ; hams, B£d ; bacon, 3£d.
