The Gold Find Near Blenheim

Havelock, May 31. There are now about 150 men on the uew goldfield at Mahakipawa. Little or no work has yet been done outside the prospector's claim owing to the wet weather, and fuUy three weeks must elapse before the field can be properly tested. In the meantime, 1 1 should strongly urge all those wouldbe gold-seekers outside the Marlborough district to wait further developments before coming. At present, I repeat, there is nothing to warrant a rush.— .Post's Correspondent.
