Volunteers
The Manchester Rifles will parad 6 for inspection on Friday June Bth and 22nd respectively at the Barracks at 7.30 p.m. On the last named date, Colonel Stapp will examine candidates for promotion among non-commis* sioned officers. As showing the present position of the Palmerston Volunteers,: we may mention that they find it absolutely necessary to double the size of their Drill shed. This work will be com* menced shortly and when finished will greatly add to the convenience of the Corps. • .
