The Nightwatchman

In order to allay the feelings of discontent which we know to exist in the minds of a good many of the subscribers to the Nightwatehman Fund, we would suggest to the Executive Committee that they call a meeting of the said subscribers to amicably discuss the causes of their dissatisfaction. We feel convinced if this course be adopted, all friction will be removed and a more friendly and liberal spirit imbued amongst those who are really desirous of assisting in the work, but wish to know under what system it is being done.
