Sib, — I understand several of th& contributors towards the support of a nightwatchman are dissatisfied at the mode in which the Committee (appointed by the above contributors) are carrying out their duties. As I was one of the said Committee so appointed, and. pot being desirous of continuing in office if the mode of management is not -agreeable to some of the subscribers, I therefore desire to tender my resignation.
