[ Mr Bell expressed his regret that I ' they had not been able to inform His . Honor on. Saturday whether the case i would come on. i His Honor thought there should be ■ , a rule providing lor the payment of ' ' jurors in such cases. '. I - .Mr Bell said he would pay the jury ;i if His Honor so directed, but he pointed out that in any case eight > furors would have- had to be put to ; the trouble of attending without payment. Mr J. R. Sommerville, as a juror, alluded to the hardship he had been put to, but His Honor, while agreeing with his statements, could not see his way to assist him. The matttr then dropped. — Herald.
