The Lubeck brings news to the effect that H. M.S. Sandfly. which recently arrived at' Tonga passed Falcon Island, a recently discovered volcanic island near the Tongan Group, which was seen to be exceedingly active, and ejecting great quantities of ashes. Several people who were residents of Greenwich {at the time of the tragedy, write to the local papers stating that, from their personal recollection, Can roll's confession of the murder of Miss Ciouston mu«t be an hallucination.
