Celebrated Awahuri Land Case

The celebrated Awahuri land case — Takana and others against McDonald — came before Judge Mackay today at sitting of the Native Land Court, in the form of an application for succession orders for the children of the deceased natives— Takana te Kawa and Karehana Tauranga. The application was granted without opposition. 1
