A JUST COMPLAINT.

TO THE EDITOR OF THK STAR. Sik, — As a parent having children atthe school treat, I beg to protest against the savage way the children were allowed to partake of the good things provided, without any form of: grace being used. Surely the fiendish regulations of our secular system, re religious forms, &c, does not extend to the playground and the annual picnic ? All our teachers profess to belong to one Christian body or another, then how could offence arise from using, under the beneficent Creator'a firmament, the appropriate and timehonored form, "Be present at our table, Lord?" lam informed a good deal of dissatisfaction was expressed at its absence by the visitors on the ground. Sir, the secular system, carried to extremes, is the greatest disgrace of, and the darkest shadow on, the otherwise bright Christian age we are living in. -I am, &c, Theophilus.
