The Amy Sherwin season at ihe Princess lheatre here has been a phenomenal success so far, and bids fair to continue so, as the reserved seats are being booked in advance to an astonishing degree. Miss Sherwin is cheered nightly on leaving and returning to her hotel by large crowds to catch a gilmpse of the nightingale. The comet was seen here this morning between 3 and 4 o'clock. Its position was E.S.E., about 12 degrees above the horizon, and almost over the planet Venus. It was very faint.
