Bulls Ram Fair

) PEE UNITED PBBBB ASSOCIATION.! Brus, Febuarj 16. Messrs Stevens and Gorton's annual ram and sheep fair yesterday was an unqualified success in every way. A yery large number of buyers were present from all parts of the coast. The attendance was large, and bidding brisk throughout. In rams, the whole of the Lincolns offered were sold, and buyers would Lave no other breed. F. B. Larkworthy's averaged 3 guineas, E, Bead's l| guineas, F. Bryce's and W. Watt's 4£ guineas. Merinos and Eomneys were discarded. Upwards of 15,000 sheep were yarded, and though the quality was only moderate, every line was disposed of at surprisingly good prices, considerably above ruling rates.
