Mr Job Harvey was driving in his trap, with his family, when the horse shied, throwing his wife and children out of the trap. Mr Harvey tried to secure the horse, which had bolted before he could do so, and seeing that he would be jambed between the trap and an adjoining fence, he wisely threw himself down, allowing one of the wheels to pass over his body, and received several severe injuries.
