An Imprest Supply (L 175.000 consolidated fund, L 75.000 public works fund) was introduced, and passed through a{l its stages. The Hon. Mr Mitehelson explained that he had not stated a few days ago, as reported* that railway employes would be granted compensation in cases of sickness. What ho bad said iras exactly the opposite. - A lengthy disoussion followed on the Midland Railway question, which was finally adjourned until Tuesday.
