The Government has decided to prosecute those persons who attended a midnight meeting of Nationalists held in Woodford County, Galway, last month, at whioh the proclamation of the Lord-Lieutenant forbidding the meeting, was burned in the presence of a large crowd. Amongst those to be indicted are the following members of Parliament : Messrs Rowlands, Sheehy, and Gill. Melbouenb, This Day. . Heavy rain is falling. The raoes are proceeding. Hobart, This Day. ;:A seam of eval, suitable for steam and gas, has been found in the Tingal district. Sydney, This Day. In cricket match between Shaw's team and Paramatta 18, the local men were disposed of for 72 runs. Visitors score stands — 3 wickets, 176 runs.
