Wellington, November 2. The cattle yarded to-day were from fair to good quality. Prices receded from Is to Is 6d the lOOlbs. Sheep were at slightly lower values. Lambs were of better worth, and sold freely: Pi/js in the usual supply selling at last sale's prices. Our quotations for beef arePrime, 16s 6d tbe 1001 bs ; medium, 16s ; mutton, shorn l£d Per pound. CattleBest line ot bullocks made £6 7s 6d to £8 ; average, £7 2s 6d j other lines averaged £5 8s to £6 3s 4d. Sheep — Best wethers, 8s 10d to 9s; lighter weight, 7s 8d f ewes, 8s Id to 8s 4d ; owes find wethers, liftht weights, 7« to 7" 6d; lambs, 6s 7d to 7n 4d. Pigs— Ba« - coners, 32s to 425; others, 21s to2Bt; porkers, 14s 6d to 17s ; stores. 8a to 11k 6d ; small stores, 6s 6d to 7s 6d.
