Mr Smith the landlord, told him to holid, his tongue, as men had got several years for saying as much m a joke, i Philips is said to have retorted it was no joke, and to hava told others standing by they were fopls fpr assisting tp put out the fire, which, if left to hare its own way, would have provided work for many of them.
