London June 2. Australian and New Zealand mails (Auckland April 25) were delivered today. Sydney, This Day. Disorderly scenes occured in the Legislative Assembly last night owing to the refusal of the Government to state whether or not they intended to abandon the tobacco duties. A meeting was held in the Town Hall last night to consider the means of celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. The proceedings at times were most rowdy. Several speakers gave utterance to offensive declarations to the Royal Family. The Court of Enquiry into the collision at the Heads said that the accident was due to a error in judgment on the part of pilot Holmes. Wm. Crossman, a bankrupt, was committed for trial on a charge of failing to deliver a full statement of his property to the Official Assignee.
