The scullinjf match between Gaudaur and Hanlan for the ohampionslnp of America was rowed to«day, and resulted in tiie former winning by four lengths Time, 19m. 30s. June 1. In spite of his defeat by Gaudaur, Hanlan will proceed to Australia to row Beach on the Nepean River. His supporters, attribute his defeat to the rough water.
