The other day Constable Marshall, , of the Queensland Police, was pro«t ceeding from Cunnamulla to Douth in charge of a prisoner named Benjamin Yates, when Marshall was swept off the submerged bridge at ; Turn Creek into the water, and being [ severely kicked by tha hone, was ren- , dered insensible.
