Messrs Frkeman R Jackson & Co. report : — Our sale at Johusonville on Wednesday was well attended. The cattle were indifferent, and said at last sale's prices. Sheep came forward in fair supply, and bidding was brisk, resulting in a marked improvement in values. Pigs were low. A good number of large bacon pigs were penned, but very few fat porkers; small stores sold well in proportion to the larger ones. Our quotations are —Cattle— Bullocks, £5 5s to £6- - average, £5 8s 6d ; cows, £3 15s to £4 178 6d — average, £4 7s 9d; veal calves, 25s to 28s each. Sheep — Best wethers, 10s 2d to Us ; others, 8s 3d to 9s; others, 7s lOd to 8s 7d; ewes, 5s 9d to 6s 8d ; fat lambs, 6s 6d t» 7s. Pigs— Baconers, £l 10s to £2 2s 6d; fat pigß, 23s to 255; porkers, 17s; store pigs, 8s 6d to 10s each.
