[By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright ] Tbeuteb's telbobamsT London, April 7. The House of Commons was adjourned yesterday for the Easter holidays, and will reassemble on the 12th instant. It is reported that England will bombard the Haytain ports unless the Tortugas Islands dispute is settled. The question of colonial naval defence has been again under consideration of the Imperial Conference, and it has been proposed that the Australian vote for the suggested Australian fleet should be £150,000 per annum, with the addition of a sinking fund. The Victorian delegates object to the fleet leaving Australian waters without first obtaining the consent of the Cabinet. , Prmce Alexander of Bulgaria refuses to be re-elected unless supported by some of the Great Powers. At the wool sales to-day, 11,000 bales were catalogued, and a firm j tone again prevailed. The sales have been adjourned until Wednesday next owing to the holidays. Crowded meetings were held last evening, in different parts of the metropolis, to protest against the adoption of coercive measures in Ireland. The gatherings were addressed by Mr John Morley, and other Eadical leaders. [Resolutions were passed against the Irish Crimes Bill. The death is announced of Colonel Sir William Owen Laoyon, formerly Governor of Transvaal, at the age of 46.
