Insurance Bonuses

We owe some apology to the Government Insurance Department for the stringent remarks we liavo felt it our duty to make from time to time on the dilatoihiess displayed in ilfvlnring the amounts of tht) bonuses coming to

j polioyholders. We find the department was not altogether responsible for the delays which were caused by circumstances alaiost beyond its con- ! trol. We still think the Depai'tment j would have been prudent to have i taken those interested, as policyholders into its- confidence and stated definitely and distinctly when the bonuses would be declared. This could easily have been done.
