NAPIER PARK AUTUMN MEETING.

Napikh, March 9. The above meeting, which took place to-iday, was very successful. There was no accidents, except that a spectator lost an ear. He was excited, and started to crawl under the '-fence just at the finish of the big race, when the horse trod on Ira ear, -taking it close off; it was sewn on again by a doctor on the ground. The following are the results of to-day's races : : Handicap Hurdles. — Owhaoko 1, Magnesia 2, Hurricane 3. JJapier Cap, of 300 soys. — Wapiti 1, Salisbury 2, Orwell 3. Spade Guinue, and 4 others also ran. Dividend £57 16s. Welter Handicap.— The Shah t. Tamahine ti Magnesia 3. Dividends (on The Shah) £18. and (on Tamahine) £1 Bs. The Flying Handicap was won by Wapiti, Spade Guinea second, the dividend being £10.
