Manchester Rifles

A meeting of the Finance Committee of the Manchester Rifles was held at offices of the E. and 0 A. Corporation, on Saturday evening. Present Captain Macarthur, Lieutenant Kirton, Sergeants Evans, Bilderbeck and Daw, Corporals G-osling and Chamberlain, after the usual routine business it was decided to aeud a challenge to the Woodville corps to fira a match at the Woodrille ranges on Saturday March 19th. The following names were selected to represent the Manchester Rifles : — Lieutenant Pleasants, Corporals Roe, Fowles, Henson, and Chamberlain, Volunteers Rose, Hensen, Poad and Stevens. The meeting then adjourned.
