The Prisoner Hall

[per united press association.] Duneduc, Fel ruarj 4.

The prisoner Thos. Hall, under sentence of death for the murder of Captain Cain, left for Lyttelton in the Koranui this evening. He will be kept in gaol there until the sitting of the Appeal Court. /

Wellington, This Day.

A special sitting of the Court of Appeal to consider the points in the Hall case, will be held at Ohnstchurch in the first week of March, probably the 7th or Bth. Sir Robert Stout will most likely argue the case.
