George Price was charged with making u o e of obscene language in a public place. He pleaded guilty. '
Constable Meeham deposed :^Prisoner met him in Eyre street, and accused the Constable of having spoken against him to Mr Light ; he used very bad language (unfit for publication) ; there are twelve previous convictions against the prisoner.
Sentenced to six months' imprisonment with hard labor in Wellington gaol. This was all the business.
