Adelaide wheat is 6d higher, 395 ; Adelaide flour, 6d higher, 235. New Zealand wheat, best qualities, have advanced 6d, and are quoted at 38s, lower qualities being Is higher, viz., 34 s. Scotch pig iron is Is higher, 465 ; galvanised iron remaining at £15. Sydney, January 7. New Zealand wheat is selling at 3s 9d per bushel ; oats, from Is 9d to 2s 3d; per 56ib, 3s lOd. There are no New Zealand potatoes in the market. [pee txkited pbess association. l Wellington, January 6. Messrs Bethune and Hunter have received the following telegram from Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Limited) : — London 4th. — "Wool — The tendency is deoidedly upward. Prices show a rise of £d to f d on most qualities. January 7. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated sth inst. : — " Wool — The wool market is firmer. The total quantity sold by private treaty since last sales is 1500 bales. The Continental demand is good."
