CHEisroHDBCH. January 1. There were about 2000 people at the C.J.C. meeting to-day. £4,400 passed through the totalisators. The following are the results : — Hurdle Handicap, of 2 soys each, ■with 100 soys added — Tres See 1, Aroha 2, Mainboom 3. Totalisators — £3 4s and £3 13s 6d. New Year Nursery Handicap, of 3 soys with 300 soys added. — Maxim 1, Gipsy King: 2, Kimberley 3. Totalisators—£3 Us and £3. Grand Stand Handicap, of 5 soys each, with 300 soys added. - Tit Bit 1, Marion 2, Leon 3. Totalisators — £4 16s 6d and £5 12s 6d. Plying Handicap, of 3 soys each, with 150 soys added. — Appropos 1, Mirella 2, Russley 3. Totalisators— £3 9s and £3 0s 6d. Consolation Handicap, of 1 so v each, with 75 soys added. — Kocket 1, Puck 2. Totalisator— £7 3s 6d.
