In -conclusion I would say that had the winding up of the affair been properly advertised and a public, not a a committee, meeting been called, the probability is that the money would have found its way to an institution having for its object the charitable one of aleviating the sick and inj ured -without caring for party, creed, or sect, an institution that Awahuri has heavily requisitioned lately, and the "Wauganui Hospital would have been the glad recipient.
