Fatal Accident
(pee united pkkss association.) Timaru. D'cemlierG. A serious accident occurred this morning at Milford, at a quarter to 11, while a number of men were excavating- at the 6ide of Milford Mill. A man named Gleridge was working under the pump, digging earth, when the earth gave way, the pump falling on his head and splitting it clean open. The man was speedily brought to Dr Hayes, where he was treated- He, however, succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.
